About Wassup
When founder Paul Leech published his first issue in McHenry County in June 2003, he envisioned Wassup! Local Magazine giving its readers an informative and fun entertainment guide to the local nightlife scene. It was a formula that had thrived back in his native England but had been neglected in suburban Chicagoland.
Now in its 9th year of operation, Wassup! Local Magazine has branched out into two states. Wassup! continues to honor its commitment to LOCAL content from LOCAL owners. Using the same basic formula since its inception, Wassup!
